Micronations is based in Brisbane, Australia, and aims to spread the word about interesting, innovative and enjoyable music and sound from around the world, with a special emphasis on Australian sounds.

SInce 2005, Micronations (formerly Peer Pressure) has presented and co-presented concerts and tours for international and Australian artists, including Frank Fairfield (USA), Captain Ahab (USA), Vialka (France), Ove-Naxx (Japan), Charlie Parr (USA), Kevin Blechdom (USA), Curse Ov Dialect, Printed Circuit (UK), USA Kings (Hungary), Anonymeye, Talkshow Boy, Toxic Lipstick, Qua  and many more. Micronations is an ongoing project by Andrew Tuttle – with help at various instances from a wonderful and varied crew of people.

This little island of the internet has been established to present news on Micronations events and tours in addition to regular blogs and new sounds from around the world. The Micronations website also incorporates a mix series, featuring innovative and diverse mixes from musicians, DJs, promoters, radio announcers and others with interesting audio perspectives from around the world.

With a nod to the legitimate (and otherwise) claims of micro states around the world, Micronations exists to provide different kinds of events, mixes and musical enjoyment that may not otherwise co-exist.
